Projects
This should properly be under research, but I wanted it at the top because it was a recent and significant endeavor. Here I simulate data to validate factor analytic approaches for personality structures under the lexical hypothesis.
A fun shiny app for personality assessment based on the findings of my dissertation. Also compares you to AI-rated superhero traits.
This is a dashboard of New York City AirBnB listings using data courtesy of airroi.com. Please view in full screen!
This is a pricing model to predict AirBnB prices from data courtesy of airroi.com. It uses both a Bayesian regression and XGBoost approach. I provide code and a briereport of the findings.
In the process of automating our study to accept new participants, and receive and send surveys, I found that the qualtRics package mostly enabled downloading but not sending survey results. I wrote these functions to allow me to update contact lists and send surveys.
Talks
The presentation accompanying the defense of my dissertation manuscript (available above, in case you missed it).
In this talk, I give some thoughts on designing items for more effective assessment.
Here I discuss some preliminary findings from my grant-funded study of physician functioning.
In this talk, I discuss some exploratory analyses comparing the structure of personality from Large Language Models to human data, using a psycholexical approach.
In this talk, I continue to expound the importance of considering psychological constructs related to wellbeing in understanding the performance of physicians.
